Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Last Updated: January 1, 2026

Tech Mentor Pro respects the intellectual property rights of creators, publishers, and copyright holders. We expect our users to do the same.

This DMCA Policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and related international standards.

This policy applies to all Tech Mentor Pro platforms:

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that material available on any Tech Mentor Pro platform infringes your copyrighted work, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice.

To be considered valid, your notice must be submitted in writing and include all required elements listed below. Incomplete notices may be delayed or rejected.

Required Elements of a DMCA Takedown Notice

Your DMCA notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work
A clear description of the original copyrighted material you believe has been infringed.
If multiple works are involved, a representative list is acceptable.

  2. Exact location of the allegedly infringing material
A direct URL or precise location on our website.
General references (such as a homepage or category page) are insufficient.

  3. Your contact information

    • Full legal name

    • Mailing address

    • Telephone number

    • Valid email address

  4. Good-faith statement
A statement confirming you believe the use is unauthorised, for example:

“I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”

  5. Accuracy & authority statement (under penalty of perjury)
    For example:

“I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notice is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorised to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.”

  6. Signature
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised representative.

Where to Send a DMCA Notice

We strongly recommend double-checking that all required elements are included to avoid processing delays.

2. What Happens After We Receive a DMCA Notice

Once a valid and complete DMCA notice is received:

  • We review the claim in good faith

  • If infringement appears likely, we may remove or disable access to the content

  • We notify the content provider of the claim and share relevant details

  • The content provider may submit a counter-notification if they believe the removal was incorrect

Tech Mentor Pro reserves the right to remove content without prior notice if it reasonably appears to violate copyright law or our internal policies.
We also reserve the right not to act on notices that fail to meet legal or procedural requirements.

3. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe content you submitted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notice under Section 512(g) of the DMCA.

Required Elements of a Counter-Notice

Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the removed material
Including the original URL or location before removal.

  2. Your contact information
Full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.

  3. Statement under penalty of perjury
    For example:

“I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.”

  4. Jurisdiction consent
A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal district court for your address, or to Tech Mentor Pro’s jurisdiction if you reside outside the United States.

  5. Signature
    A physical or electronic signature.

Where to Send a Counter-Notice

If a valid counter-notice is received, the material may be reinstated within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant files a legal action seeking a court order.

4. Repeat Infringement Policy

Tech Mentor Pro maintains a policy for addressing repeat copyright infringement.

Users who repeatedly submit infringing material or abuse the DMCA process may have their access suspended or permanently terminated.
Each case is reviewed individually, but multiple violations may result in removal without further notice.
